Bezar: Customer Experience

Bezar is where people who design special things connect with people who desire special things. It is a curated platform dedicated to modern design, authenticity, designer's livelihoods, and quality goods.

At Bezar, I worked with creative director PJ Mattan and developers Friends of the Web to implement PJ's visual design framework to a usable and functional e-commerce experience.

The designs emphasized the individual designer, providing backstory and striking visuals to represent their brand:

After launch, we iterated on multiple pages to optimize for conversion, including product pages and the customer's shopping cart. The product pages were transitioned to a traditional e-commerce layout, increasing conversion on the page by 33%:

The customer's shopping cart was modified from an individual landing page into a modal, allowing customers to quickly begin checkout from anywhere on the site:

We also launched a major feature which allowed customer to browse products by category. An organized category taxonomy structure allowed customers to browse multiple levels of subcategories to find the perfect purchase:
